We have a maximum of ten days before we hear from the Maryland Film Festival about our December submissions, Toby Benson Wants His Money and The Interrogation Of The Downsville Deucer. Personally, I can handle the result either way. However, I would like to know for sure, whether or not we got in.

Well, its that time of year again where the snow says goodbye and the sunshine starts to warm our souls. I almost feel like we here at neon reel have been hibernating, but worry not loyal fans, we have been working hard to bring some new things to the table this year.

February 10, 2011 – Matzen and the crew at neon reel entertainment have been hard at work the past two weeks, putting together something amazing for their loyal fans. The first short film content, of 2011, to be released onto the website, debuted the week of February 6, 2011 and has shown considerable hits from eager fans.

As part of their 2011 bucket list, neon reel constructed their first camera dolly to maximize their ability to shoot continuous movement from room to room. The camera dolly, which consists of a simple dolly with a tripod mounted to its flat surface, allowed the crew to angle shoots in Se Vita Privare and continuously follow their lead, as she prepped herself for her final night.
