Hey hey, looks like I'm back once again. Today is day 17 of Great Dialog (if the title didn't clue you in to that) and I am on a neon reel roll.

This dialog before you is from the clever and witty yet to be released film : "Toby Benson Wants his Money." This film holds a special place in my heart because of some of Toby's dialog and how just witty the film is overall. I can say that justly because I had no part of the writing, laugh out loud.

Loyal neon reel fans, we were not invited to participate in the 2011 Maryland Film Festival. However, this upsetting news will not deter us from our path to producing better content as we progress in all techniques and aspects of filmmaking.

We have a maximum of ten days before we hear from the Maryland Film Festival about our December submissions, Toby Benson Wants His Money and The Interrogation Of The Downsville Deucer. Personally, I can handle the result either way. However, I would like to know for sure, whether or not we got in.

Matt Matzen conceptualized neon reel entertainment and worked at every level to nurture its development over the past seven years. Originally, this Rochester, MN native began pursuing his dream by developing basic editing techniques with footage he gathered from parties and everyday events. By 2011, Matzen has produced short films, music videos, a series and special effects reels under the neon reel brand.
