Ladies and gentleman, I'd like to welcome you to my blog column. This week, I am going to be quick and to the point. For those of you who don't know, neon reel entertainment has made it into the Horrorfind film festival's contest.

7 years, lots of learning and growing, lost sleep and a hell of a lot of hard work is beginning to pay off! We are piecing a large puzzle together and have been for some time. We have an elite group of followers and co-workers and most of us will be there to represent. The film that we were excepted with is called "The Black Eyed Children". Ashley Hutson wrote the film and her husband (the one and only Steve Shives) helped perfect the great piece of script literature so we could make it the fantastic film that it is.

Of course, Matt Matzen directed and did a majority of the editing and splicing among the other jobs he does here at neon reel. Tabetha Holweck and Amanda Giffen are the stars co-starring Amanda's brother Shaun and my God-daughter, Trinity, as the Black Eyed Children. Of course I was behind the scenes and literally behind Matt doing my sound tech thing throughout the entire film. Juan Montano and my lovely wife Dee were there throughout to do what they do best. Tabetha's man Justin was also there to lend a hand where ever we needed him.

So, if you haven't seen our trailer, refresh the site and check it out. We offer an invitation to anyone who would like to come out on Sunday and support us at the fest.
