*synopsis*

The three hosts of the low-budget, basic cable series Psi Sleuths and their two-man production crew arrive at a remote house deep in the woods of West Virginia. Hired by the house's owner to investigate strange noises, voices, he has heard there ever since his wife's murder over 40 years ago, the skeptical Psi Sleuths team investigates not to find ghosts, but to show that there is nothing haunting the old Bartell House but bad memories.

It doesn't take long for things to go wrong. After realizing some crucial equipment has been left at their hotel, an hour's drive away, one of the group takes their only vehicle and returns to civilization, leaving the other four stranded at the house. Alone in the house, the four left behind begin to hear the same strange noises as the old owner reported. When one of them mysteriously dies, the remaining three must fight for survival not only against the unknown -- but against their own fear and superstition.
